Intro to Bookbinding Class
Saturday, September 21, 2019
Class fee: $49
Design, fold, and sew your own blank book from cover to cover by learning one of the oldest book binding techniques: coptic binding.
This elegant hardcover binding features an exposed spine and visible stitching that will lay completely flat when open, making it ideal for journals, photo albums, sketchbooks, and art projects. You’ll have the opportunity to customize your new book with a choice of cover papers.
All supplies and equipment will be provided!

Haylee Croydon is a Librarian, bibliophile, crafter, gamer, and a dog and baby mom who loves to create. She feels that bringing something to life from just it's parts is a powerful experience and to teach others how to do it is even more rewarding. She’s been book making for over six years and has been teaching it for two. Aside from book making, she’s kind of a "Jill-of-All-Trades" crafter, making anything that seems cool or challenging. She’s excited to see what you’ll make together!
