The Art of Drinking Glasses

A double shot of skill building: glass etching and mixology class

Monday, May 14, 2018
7:00 - 9:00 pm

Class fee: $50

Join us for two classes poured into one evening!

First, you'll make your own piece of functional art as you learn glass etching, a chemical process that leave a permanent waterproof design on the surface. Lear about multiple techniques and insider tips on getting the perfect etched design. During this hands-on class you will be provided with the materials, tools, and design stencils needed to create a personalized rocks glass for your collection and drinking entertainment.

Once your glass is etched, you’ll want to know what to put in it, right?

Time for a lesson in mixology as a local celebrity bartender shares the key skills and sensibilities used to stir up seasonal cocktails.

This event is hosted in partnership with Atlas Obscura Society Portland.
