Come enjoy the beauty and calm of watercolor painting!
In this very beginner friendly workshop you’ll learn about the basics of mixing and painting with watercolors. We’ll focus on creating a range of colors using the three primaries of red, yellow, and blue and techniques to apply the paint to paper. You’ll then spend the remainder of class painting an illustration of your choice from a selection of floral, fauna, and abstract images. No painting experience is required and all materials will be provided.
(optional) Would you like a kit to continue the fun at home after class?
Select the "Class Registration & Watercolor Kit Bundle" option (+$32) and you will take home from class a kit with everything you need to continue the painting fun. Purchasing the bundle offers a 20% discount on the kit compared to buying it outside of the class session! The kit includes three 8ml tubes of high quality Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolor paint (red, yellow, and blue), variety of brushes, palette, and a pack of 5”x7” watercolor paper.
